1. Will I be there for you When you need me to come through for you or will I walk away and leave you? Hope that I’ll be brave enough to see you as my neighbour and do all that it takes to make you world a whole lot safer. Chorus: Who is my neighbour? Who is my neighbour? You are, you. (Repeat Chorus) 2. When we live on the edge it’s good to have a safety net, someone to watch our backs and cue us. As they say, no man’s an island I am my brother’s keeper The question is, am I prepared to get my feet wet and go in deeper? (Repeat Chorus) (c) Irene Bom www.irenebom.com

I'm not a shepherd, nor a wise man, Nor an angel, that is true. I'm not a shepherd, nor a wise man, Nor an angel, nor are you. But we can follow their example We can worship Jesus too. And like the shepherds, the wise men and the angels We can also spread the good news: God has sent His Son (x2) God has sent His Son, I tell you. God has sent His Son. (c) Irene Bom www.irenebom.com

By buying this CD you support education for disadvantaged children in the slums of Addis Abeba, Ethiopia.

Ethio-Berhan Foundation
“BERHAN” is an Ethiopian word meaning "LIGHT". A core activity of the Ethio-Berhan Foundation is to give underprivileged children from the slums of Addis Abeba the possibility of attending school. This program is part of IHA-UDP (Integrated Holistic Approach Urban Development Project), active in the five poorest slums of Addis Abeba. Approximately 60,000 people live there. Half of them are under fifteen.

The children are expected to go to school, but for many families this is not financially viable. Without help, their situation is hopeless. For more information on how you can be involved in the sponsorship programme or the other activities of the Ethio-Berhan Foundation, see the website: www.ethioberhan.nl

Thanks to all the “friends & neighbours” behind the mics, behind the consoles and behind the scenes who helped make this CD a reality.
